How to make a Mohair wrap

To create this wrap I used two skeins of Touch Mohair/Merino each skein is 100 g and has approx 900 m.  Click here to find out about this yarn touchyarns .  I purchased this yarn at Spin A Yarn .

You will need:
1800 m of 2 ply mohair yarn
8 mm needles

Cast on 1 stitch,
continue in stocking stitch increasing 1 stitch at the beginning of every knit row and at the end of every pearl row until you have 45 stitches.
Continue working on 45 stitches until the wrap measures 230 cm, ending in a pearl row.
Continue in stocking stitch decreasing 1 stitch at the end of every knit row and the beginning of every pearl row until 1 stitch remains.
Cast off.

Create tassels by winding yarn round a CD case or a similar sized book.  Cut at one end.  Taking 3 strands at a time fold in half and using a crochet hook create even tassels along the graduated edges by hooking the strands through evry third row.
