Here is Monday's outfit. The dress is a simple drop waist shift dress made in stretch cord. I made it six years ago for a party. At the party I wore the teal silk scarf, made at the same time from a remnant (and just visable at the neck) as a belt, but it's more appropriate to wear one of my loveley fairysteps belts for work. The cardigan was knitted a year and a half ago in August. I know that because I was knitting it at son's party and his friends all seemed astounded that I was knitting. It was a nice pattern from Ravelry but I can't remember what it was called, the yarn was very cheap in a sale
Such a great work outfit. I love the pattern on the dress and the colours are ones I would choose myself :D
ReplyDeleteI really have to get moving on my make my own clothes initiative. Just need fabric!
Where do you get the fabric you use for your garments, other than wool obviously?
